DDS, MSC IN ORAL IMPLANTOLOGY (DGI, GERMANY)

GDC Number: 100182

I graduated in Hannover at the Medical Highschool in 2000.

To become a surgeon was a natural path for me as my father is an implantologist and was happy to pass on his experience to me. I cherish the fact I can still discuss implant matters with my father and I’m grateful for his input.

I went from Hannover to Berlin, the city I was born to become a partner in a great practice in Potsdamer Platz, in the heart of Berlin. As a pianist, I feel there is a great link between medicine and music. To be able to place an implant in the morning and play piano in the evening was a dream come true, which I could accomplish at the Ritz Carlton on Potsdamer Platz.

I came to London in 2005 with a focus on Dental Implantology and started a new adventure with two great mentors Dr Martin Gilbert and Dr Danny Temkin at Camden Dental Implant Centre. They both became great friends.

I worked at Harley Street with Dr Stanley Kay at Harley Street Dental Clinic and later with Prof. Nikolos Donos, who was the head & chair of periodontology at the UCL-Eastman Dental Institute at the time at the Harley Street Oral Reconstruction Centre at 152, Harley Street.

2008 I decided to go to Paris, the capital of elegance and homeland of my mother for a Master Course in Implantology. At that moment I met Dr Anne Behnamou, one of the great female implantologists in France and we decided to work together. I spent 8 years working at her implant clinic (Institut Europeen du Visage 75006 Paris). During that time, I still worked in London at Camden and Harley Street on weekends. I finished my diploma in Implantology 2013 and went on to finish a Master of Science in implantology 2015 and a Master of Science in periodontology at the German society of Implantology 2016.

My journey continues as the world of dentistry and implantology is evolving, so me and my Implant nurse and Implant Coordinator Marie Mylene Guerrier we are constantly updating our skills to provide the latest and newest techniques in our practice. We are happy to provide a choice of different implant system as full titanium implants (Alpha-Bio), mixed titanium – ceramic implants (Straumann) and full ceramic implants. As a trained naturopath, I am happy to offer to our patient’s ceramic implants, which are in my opinion the most biocompatible material now.

I recently placed and restored 4 ceramic implants for my father and he is very happy with the result.

In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, piano and like reading and keeping updated with the world of implantology, that evolves at a fast pace.
