While everyday dental care is a great starting point for looking after your teeth and gums, and maintaining good oral hygiene, you may sometimes need more advanced dental treatment. That’s where oral surgery comes in. At Crescent Lodge Dental Practice, we offer oral surgery for problems such as decayed and broken teeth, teeth with curved roots, wisdom tooth removal, bone grafts and implant dentistry. Our oral surgeons, Dr Andreas Jahnigen and Chloe Bass, carry out these treatments.Book Appointment
Ahead of dental implants, you may need a sinus lift procedure. This helps ensure there’s enough bone tissue for the implant to ‘take’ to. In cases where bone and tissue has reduced or disappeared, you may need a sinus lift, which involves placing bone graft material into the sinus cavity for your implants to be secured to.
“I just want to thank you very much indeed for your skill and kindness. I know the operation was a difficult one and I am very pleased that it seems to be healing well. Thank you so much.”
With state-of-the-art equipment, our team will be able to assess your teeth and mouth and carry out the necessary treatments to the highest standards of care. Prior to treatment you will be advised about what you can expect from the procedure and we will also provide you with any necessary after care instructions to ensure a comfortable and quick recovery.
Your comfort is important to us. That’s why we offer intravenous sedation during surgical dental treatments, ensuring you feel relaxed during the procedures.
As well as carrying out any surgery, we’ll talk you through the procedure ahead of time and will answer any questions you might have to help put you at ease. We’ll also give you aftercare advice so you can ensure a comfortable, quick recovery.
For those desiring implants, we offer a free, 30-minute consultation, where we can look at your latest X-rays and give advice about your treatment. Please note that if you don’t have current X-rays, there is a £45 fee to carry these out at our practice. You may need a 3d scan if an X ray doesn’t give us enough information.
Our oral surgeons Dr Andreas Jahnigen and Chloe Bass have the knowledge, expertise and friendly manner make them the ideal experts to handle your treatment. Dr Andreas Jahnigen has been practicing since 2001 and previously worked at the prestigious Harley Street Dental Practice.
