At Crescent Lodge Dental Practice, we know how important your smile is. It helps you feel confident and happy, and can be the first thing others notice about you. Being deprived of teeth can be extremely upsetting and for many it can give rise to negative feelings of shame and ageing. Dentures are a replacement for missing teeth – and they can help us to restore your smile to its former glory.Book Appointment
One thing all our patients want are dentures that fit well, are comfortable and look just like healthy teeth. We endeavour to do exactly that, so you can smile with confidence. There are lots of different options for the replacement of teeth – whether it’s a partial or full dentures, or implant supported dentures. Whatever your choice, our expert team will be with you throughout your treatment journey, helping you feel comfortable and confident at all times.
‘’Thank you for my lovely new smile. I was dreading the whole thing as you know and have been putting it off for years! The difference it has made is amazing – I now like having my photo taken! Thank you for being brilliant and lovely.’’
Dr Hussain Rashid works alongside excellent dental technicians to make dentures that will be tailored to you and your teeth, matching size and shape, so they blend into your smile subtly and discreetly. We often like to use old photos of your natural smile to make your new teeth appear just as they would have, to such an extent we want no one to know you even have false teeth at all. Our dentures are made to last so sometimes we use an invisible metal framework cast in chrome which strengthens and secures the denture so that it fits seamlessly and snugly. This also helps to give your face more structure where missing teeth were causing sagging, and making chewing easier, so no foods need to be off the menu.
Partial and full dentures are removable. They’re made of a plate part that fits snugly in your mouth, with an artificial tooth or teeth attached. Metal and acrylic versions are available.
The main difference is that dental implants are fixed in place. The treatment involves making a small hole in your gums, then placing a series of metal posts (which depend on how many teeth you’re replacing). The top part (crown) is then fitted.
We believe in our patients making informed decisions about their treatment. So, whatever you come to see us about, we recommend booking in for a consultation, so we can talk you through the process, pros and cons, and available options.
Clear and fair pricing is important to us at Crescent Lodge. Equally, you can’t put a price on good oral health and the condition of your smile. Our dentures start at £800 for acrylic and £900 for metal – we’ll be happy to make recommendations for you during your initial consultation.
