If your problem is a dental emergency, our London dentists will aim to see you as quickly as possible. There are lots we can do to help, but usually, we’ll focus on managing pain, bleeding or infection, to book further treatment at a later date.

What else do I need to know?

• Some cases of emergency treatment need a referral to a medical specialist, such as in the case of heavy bleeding, trauma, broken jaw etc. We’ll let you know if this is the case.
• Treatment might involve stabilising your condition, carrying out an assessment (such as an X-ray) or prescribing treatments. Tooth repair and extraction are also possible.
• An emergency won’t get better on its own; in fact, it’s likely to get worse and potentially cause more problems. That’s why it’s so important to be seen as quickly as possible.
